Yep, I dislike the studs on mine. Just got it a few weeks ago though, but they have to go. The conchos are really bad too. I am thinking of getting those hard repro bags eventually.

Who did you source your black studs from?

I got them off ebay..1/2" black dots/studs. They are like 4 bucks for a hundred..order 300! Fairly easy to do and makes a huge difference I think. My bags are like new so I can't really justify buying new bags.

Yea, mine is brand new too. I cant afford to swap bags right now. Any pics of the new look?

I looked at a Fatboy and the Heritage, I needed a sissybar and pad for the wife and wanted the driving lights also. I wasn't thrilled with the chrome spots, so I changed out the seat and bags, much better now. I sold the original bags, which helped pay for the new ones. Since I always change seats on my bikes anyway the Heritage was a no brainer, gave me more for my money than a Fatboy.

I know I have thought about the same thing..actually I bought a fatboy seat but it wasn't as comfortable as the Heritage...I would really like to have a Deluxe seat but have not idea how it would mount.

I have a Deluxe, and put a Heritage seat on it. Straight up swap. If you're going with a Deluxe seat though, you'd better be under 5'7". It'll push you forward.

I've heard a few people mention a rumor that the Softails will see big changes in 2016. Is there any validity to this? What do you think they would change besides color?

Bike's a 2010. I put a seat from a 2007 Heritage on it. Fit like it was made for the bike. I'm 6', stock Deluxe seat was uncomfortable for me, but some people my height like them. Guess it just depends on each individual.
