I've started a bunch of Heritage threads about how great of a bike it is in my 8yrs in here..

They usually don't last very long. they usually get 30-40 replies and then die out.

I think mostly older member prefer the Heritage's cause of the leather and SPOTs... which are not liked by most of the younger members..

Also I don't think most of the older members post as often or say as much as some of the younger ones do..

Just my thoughts.

To me, the Heritage is most versatile model that looks awesome in several different styles. It can be a cool *** Deluxe and in 15 minutes it can be a cool *** Heritage with storage.

Mine with bags...

Without...

I have to admit I'm missing my Heritage. Have a Dyna Street Bob that I'm not gelling with which I traded to from the Heritage. My conditioning is getting better, but "numnuz" is getting old...really missing my Heritage, never had that issue with that.

I really love the comfort of my Heritage but my heart will always belong to my Shovelhead of 35 years.

Well, now we can test your theory. '16 model gets it.

Speaking of getting it, what I don't get is why a base model Heritage is $1200 cheaper than a Deluxe and comes with a windshield, saddlebags, and a passenger backrest. So far, the only thing the Deluxe seems to have that the Heritage doesn't is a tombstone tail light. Them things must be made of gold...

Supply, demand, and perceived value may have nothing at all to do with logic and real worth. 😏

Default I love my 1998 Heritage Softail Classic

My Bike has 61,000 miles on it and runs AWESOME, no leaks and doesn't blow any smoke. 1340 Evolution motor, gotta love Evo's . I just wish it had a 6th gear. lol. but take the saddle bags off and windshield and it looks totally different.

But why hasn't Harley but dual front discs on the Heritage? It needs to stop better. Why is there no oil cooler on the stock 103? Why is there no mage wheel option? It is classic but could be so much better. Why no 6 gallon gas tank?
