looking at 01 deuce with 1550 se engine

Default looking at 01 deuce with 1550 se engine

anything to look out for? FI with Se Engine put in it by dealer...

How many miles? When were the tensioners serviced?

The 1550 S/E factory engine was available only in the S/E Road Glides that year. A S/E 1550 in a Deuce was built from S/E parts (probably at a Dealership.) There are lots of combinations that can define a S/E. I would ask the PO if he knows what was done and who did it. (It didn't come from the Factory that way.)

It was supposedly put in as a replacement engine

OK. If so (stock 1550 S/E,) you won't see a S/E designation on the heads (they stay stock,) and it'll run 203 S/E cams. If you see "Screamin' Eagle" on the heads, start asking questions, it's been built.

Thank you very much for that information , It says screaming eagle on them. I'm just going to look elsewhere thanks for the help I really appreciate it
