i can't argue the fact that the proper year softail factory service manual is well worth the money. if its just for torque specs and basic stuff it will all be the same, the wiring or internal stuff could be different though. if you can get the 2008 for free it will really help you, but if your paying close to the same price, you might as well get the right one.
