I bought my bike used and it already had lights installed so I do not know the brand name.

I am 100% convinced that they do increase your visibility. It's more light to be seen in the dark. I had a friend drive behind me to see how visible I was going down the road. My lights are blue and he could literally spot me one mile away on a highway. I was distinguished from all of the "red" tail lights on the highway. When I ride I want every safety precaution that I can have and if these lights give me a 1% better chance of being seen, it's worth it. I always run them at night.

I am also a believer of loud pipes and have seen first hand the difference that can make.

I say go for it!!

I have blue lights, they come with a remote to dim or strengthen the light by 4 settings.

I ride at nite with them and heres the deal...people keep their distance. I think because they think its a law enforcement vehical.

As far as the law itself, ive asked and asked if i can have them while moving; half say they didnt know if the laws apply to motorcycles, half said they didnt care about motorcycles. Either because they dont apply as much or the officers know we need to be seen.

Ive been tailed by stateies, had townies say nice bike at a stop light, but, in the end, i knowticed people keep their distance. ...untill they wanna look at it.

Ow, and btw, stay outta peoples blinds, wheather they ran up on u, or u on them

Double check the vehicle code for your state as in some states running these type of lights are illegal on the road, OK when parked.
Kalifornia is one of those states, yeah go figure.....
