I think with internet radio like Pandora, iTunes radio and iHeart radio Sirius/XM is probably on the way out.
That being said, I don't see why you can't hook up a Sirius radio.
However you'll need a system such as Hogtunes or Boom Audio.

I have Boom Audio and hooked up a bluetooth system with my smart phone and it works great.

I was thinking the same thing, but I believe you require a system (receiver) for the Sirius system to connect into.

I think I am going to mount a waterproof Blu tooth speaker to my windshield bag and just connect my iPod to it.

I had it on my other bike and have not had time to install on the new bike. I loved it on long rides, not always trying to find a station

You will need more than a receiver or speaker, you'll need an amplifier to magnify the sound unless all you want to do is listen while sitting on the side of the road.

I installed Sirius radio on my Deluxe quite a few years ago. I have changed amps and speakers to continuously get better sound, and not have things too noticeable. This is how it sits now, and sounding not bad. I have another volume control that I want to tie into the handle bar controls,,,,some day I'll get to it and see if I can do it.

I use it with ear buds and have no issue, if you want external speakers you will need a amplifier.
