there has been cases where the lithium ion battery has melted the fuse box in a motorcycle ...the owner will never go with a lithium ion again...

Ion Polymer made and still sold by WPS. The newer design Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries don't have that problem and some
factory race bikes now come with them - i.e. Ducati Superleggera has a Skyrich LFP in it from the factory. Just be sure to
use a compatible battery tender like the OptiMATE as these batteries are not tolerant of charging voltages over 14.5 volts.
yes this is the case. but some newer model sport bikes have stock Life Po4 batteries. I have them in 3 of my bikes and will place one in the Harley also. they work well the newer ones
I appreciate you updating this info. I need something to allow space in my 1200 Roadster battery box . . for the module. I want to use a seat that needs the module location. Not sure I want to spend this much. What are my options?
