Default what pipes look good with dual headers? NOT SAMSON!!!

So after a horrible experience with samson / phat parts performance I asked for a refund. I ordered headers on eBay today from a company who actually has them in stock.

So I know factory 47 makes slips but are they 2 1/4 to match up to the headers?

Who makes 39" fishtails that will fit seamless to the headers?

Thanks in advance - I just can't see waiting 6-9 months for samson to come through. Going on 4 months was long enough for me.

On a close note, I would consider duals if someone made a set that the left side went under the frame like the touring hikes. That way no pipes would wrap around the derby cover. That's the main reason I haven't bought a set.

Unfortunately Softails don't have room underneath for the 2-1-2 crossover duals. Would be a slight upgrade in performance over the true duals.

I believe Bassani makes the hutch special true duals that wrap differently. The left pipe comes from the front cylinder head and the right comes from the rear head. Both pipes are equal length I believe.

I did not see anything like that on the Bassani web site. However, I didn't know they made exhaust systems for auto's also. I will keep looking. I have found that I am not alone with the thought of duals like the touring bikes for softails.
