Default jeez, this is harder than i thought.

Tracking down parts for an 89 springer is like pulling teeth. After 5 mos of waiting, i finally got the spring fork i needed. Now i need the spring guide rods. I ordered them from a website, and only found out this morning that theyre out of stock. NO ONE else seems to have them, or im looking under the wrong search terms....

You might try contacting Kirk, at Sales@sickballs.com

He is a V-Twin authorized dealer and they seem to have just about every doodad you might ever need, they seem to take over when HD quits making parts.

In addition to great pricing he can provide terrific tech support as he knows just about all there is to know about springers I'd say. He might argue with that but he's well versed.

Set up a saved search on eBay. You'll be astonished as to what you'll find.

Then, patience, grasshopper.

Lol. Ive been patient. I want to ride the thing (its my only transport other than my wife, and her knees are starting to get weak). Seriously though, what the hell happened the the internet. You cant get parts in a store anymore wo being referred to a website, and the internet just brings up 1 ebay listing from 2005 and a bunch of junk you dont need....

Ok, jay at retro was exceptionally helpful and found the parts i need while saving me a few hundred bucks, and he appreciates my quirky sense of humor, so it seems i made a friend too. Thanks for the input guys, its much appreciated.
