Awhile back I posted in the Off Topic section about how my HD place messed up on the ordering of my mini-apes. They said that they would make it up to me. Here are the pics of my new mini-apes.

Nice!! I LOVE my mini-apes. They put me in a much more comfortable riding position. How do you like the position you're in now compared to the stock bars?

I see you went with the SS braided cables/brake line too. Looks sharp, man!

Great looking apes, Springer. Like Clammy said, they have to make for a more comfortable riding position. The bar change HD did on the Springer's is one of the reasons I didn't buy one.

Hey Springer, it's good to hear your bike is more comfortable to ride. How tall are you? I'm 5'11'. I think height it is fairly important with bar selection, arm length etc. I'm thinking of changing my bars. I've got 40 inch wide aftermarket westerns on my bike and even with the standard risers, I would like the grips to be a wee bit further back. I'll be fussier this time when I try the bars out.

Howdy T, we're about the same height. My riding position is more comfy and the bars turn back towards me more than the stock. From the tip of one handle to the other is about 37" and I now have some flex in my arms.

I double checked them and they are 10", I think what throws them off a little is the width at the bottom. What kind of bars are you going to be getting? Thanks
