Default Reckless Fairing installed on my Fatboy Lo

Hello

I ordered a reckless fairing on Tuesday and got it today. Install was smooth as silk. Took it out for abou a 30 mile test ride, and all is well. Got back from my test ride and check all the mounts and everything is good to go.

The Reckless fairing looks great. The added wind protection and having tunes without ear buds is a plus.

All bikes look better standing still and in their original condition but who does that? The fairing makes for a much nicer ride for those who like to get out on the open road for extended riding.

I ride my bike for a greater distance than the next bar. I like my Reckless too.

I totally agree, I put a reckless fairing on my roadking last year. Made all the differences in the world. So when I bought the fatboy in sept. I knew it was going to have a fairing as well, I was going to wait until I went down to leesburg bike fest in 2 weeks, but I got a great deal buy buying it from the reckless eBay site, I couldn't pass it up.

Here is my roaking

Would the reckless fairing work with a set of 16in carlini gangsters? Just wondering if there would be interference

Jager, Your Road King looks fantastic.

Specialed, You should call Reckless as they can answer all of your questions.

How did you run the wiring harness under the tank or under the dash?

I used a small "fish" rod and ran it under the tank. It took about 1 minute.

It wasn't to hard. I disconnected to gas, took off the both tank bolts and then just slid the tank down just little bit to allow access to the cable tray. The fairing came with its own wiring harness, I layed the new wires in the tray and added some zip ties to secure it. Took about 5 mins.

The fairing looks at home on your ride.
