Anyone found other 8" round air cleaner covers with a center screw-holethat would fit a Big Sucker air cleaner from Arlen Ness, or that fits just over the front, leaving the sides of the filter exposed? I like my 'wavy' one, but would like to go with something a bit more custom than everyone else, given Ness only has two styles available (or am I missing others?)

Next time you get by the Stealer check out the selection there from $30-60. I have the non billet, but chrome, Harley Davidson scripted one. I share your opinion on open element looks good, but recognize it is not a great idea in the rain. Here in Houston area if you ride in the rain on our roads I would say the element getting wet and causing you to park it would be a blessing in disguise. John
