Default Finally on the road

After some bumps in the road (my fault) and lots of help from forum members, I got her in the road finally. Went 98" big bore, S&S 570 cams, and head work from Kirby. Stretched rear fender, heritage front and new tank with House of Colors Oriental Blue wih heavy flake. 16" 1.5" thick apes with internal throttle. Then some other crap here and there. It was definitely a learning experience and still is. Need to mess with the jetting and replace the rear rocker box gasket. So far so good though.

Not trying to be a smartass or anything but I was just curious about something. I've never been around fishtails mounted like that so I was just wondering about something. I see that they are pretty low to the ground, do they cause you any issues when leaning into the corner? Thanks

I usually don't ride slammed like that. When I'm aired up to a more conservative height I don't scrape. They are only 36s, some guys are running 42s! Lol

I don't know how long it took or how much money but it was worth it! That's a sweet ride for sure! Good job!
