I got the wider Touring seat for my Heritage and it helped my wife quite a bit. She is not often on the Heritage or we would have gotten extended footboards for her as well. Passengers need to move their feet occasionally just like we do.
I don't have floor boards, have been looking for them. Wasn't sure if they would make a difference. Sounds like $800-1000 I can have her comfortable, mustang seat, suspension, and floorboards
Lol! We forum members have no problem spending other members $$$!
Agree'd with the foot boards as well. The will give your wife much better support. I cant' remember how much I exactly paid for my seat and floor boards but I'm pretty sure it was well under the $1000. At any rate, what's more important, money or comfort
My wife recently bought me a 2015, heritage classic,as I had cage pill in front of me while riding my ultra classic. We frequently ride 150+ miles per day on the weekends. She has multiple sclerosis, and her legs hurt or go to sleep on the heritage, they never did on the 04 classic. I really think that hard seat may be the cause, she had a lounger on the classic. I think I at least have to try a new seat. Any suggestions?
The Ultimate is the best breathable seat on the market. They also make a pillion seat that is compatible with the stock seat. Also a pair floor boards that allow the feet to be lower and take presure off the lower back.
