I've still got a spare console. Think I'm gonna send it and a coil to my guy asap and see what he can dream up.

Talking to them at HHI about the front end. They suggest changing my triple tree to their 3° raked one. It will work with the factory size wheel and he said it should raise it about 1".

That also saves me from shipping the trees to CA to be chromed. IIRC that would put me to the rake of the CVO Breakout.

I also agree, the black has to go. Nub told me that before he ever sent my parts back.

I don't think I'll ever get done with this bike. Every time I look at it I find something else I want to change.

Wheels are here, bullet headlight shell here, bassani radial sweepers and Arlen Ness 10 guage chrome air cleaner ordered. Need to order a JW Speaker to fit the bucket. Need to order some new turn signals in chrome hopefully with led lights.

The polished triple tree, lower legs, and black swingarm look out of place. Think those will wait a while.

My wild paint job still looks strange to me. I hope its just because its still new and not the fact that i put colors on that dont belong on a bike. Maybe that will change with time.
Hi Michael, great looking bike!
The paint job is original and very personal, imo your feelings are given because some parts of the bike need to be adapted to flow and match the rest of the bike in terms of color and finish.
As you correctly stated lower fork legs and swingarm will match much better in chrome. The console needs to be changed with a new one, Blackline in chrome or what about painted in white pearl? That could be an option too...
Once you'll have wheels and pulley installed you'll feel better for sure...
Also pegs mounts can be upgraded using chrome ones, like CVO...
During some stages of deeper mods like you did it's normal to feel like this, happened to me too but it's simply because the project isn't finished yet, don't worry.

Yeah dude. When you start splashing some chrome on it it's gonna come together. Right now it looks a little off cause of all the black parts you mentioned.

Luckily it seems like you have most of the parts that need to be chromed lined up. Don't stress dude, I felt uneasy as well when I put my bike together after the paint job.

It's gonna look phenomenal when it's finished.

I can't believe something hasn't been said about getting those reflectors off!

These things are always a work in progress and it sounds like you have a handle on what you want to change/add to tie it together. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I keep meaning to pull them but keep forgetting when I have a chance.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got one like that except its black. I will probably send it to Mean City and get it reworked and recovered. It will be much more comfortable after they add the memory foam to it.

Just need to figure out which color brown would look good. I really like that color on that seat.

Yeh as long as it doesn't clash with strip on tins.
