Raja dat! Ono's is da bomb. But make sure you get plenty money in the pocket when you eat there nowadays. Yep I live Waimanalo but went school town side. Next time you get back home go rent one bike and maybe can meet up for a ride.
Aloha brah!

Aloha brah!
Yup! prices went up and portions got a bit smaller. Although I go Helena's too and just as good, prices a bit mo bettah. so yeh mahalos for the offer to go ride but I stay in the water pretty much all day whenever I'm there. the ocean here in Cali is cold, stinky and waves suck. besides u seen the prices on HD rentals? freaking tourist only cuz. outrageous. not even one "kama'aina discount"- no aloha.

PB sorry brother we sort of hijacked your thread- it's a "local" thing... hah.

It's all good Dog. Its all about socializing here any how.

Stopped by the shop and took a sneak peek. The bike looks really strange to me right now with the drastic paint change.

They have the gas tank and oil tank installed. Waiting for spacers for both fenders. The black leather console was installed, it doesn't look that bad but it probably should be a chrome blackline console or a custom made one .

Realized real quick the front forks and lowers will need to be chromed. Good thing I ordered chrome wheels. The black seems out of place. I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to tear her all apart and paint the frame because it looks strange also.

Sounds like a good excuse to do a 124" at the same time.

I'm not gonna rush into all that, because I'm ready to ride. Maybe something for a winter project.

No pics because bike is a mess from sitting in the shop for 3 months with mechanics leaving fingerprints and grease all over everything.

So you will need to have more patience than me, because I stopped in and did a sneak peek lol!

I was thinking you could get mighty trick with the dash console strip if you investigate some different materials. things like silver or orange pearl alligator or snakeskin, silver carbon fiber, something like that which works with the paint colors and also provides a unique bit of bling on top of the tank. you can do a dash strip which matches with the seat material and that works too, especially if you use some really cool material for the seat. i think you'll get some better ideas after you get her back together.

Yeh chrome that bitch out!

Frame.. be careful with that one. for starters, it totally fubars the value of the bike once you repaint the frame. second, a black frame almost always goes with everything. Third, frame repaints are almost always non-durable and chip. you have to pay big $$ to have it done right.

You could do a color matched frame in the same orange as on the tins, that might look hot- or - it could look like an orange creamsicle. do some mockups in photoshop before you even consider this. I can't really lend a suggestion though till i see the final assembled product.

Sounds like a good excuse to do a 124" at the same time.
Say whuuuutt??? you actually need an excuse for that?? whaahaaha.

Don't really need an excuse because I'm single! You should be able to tell as much as I put into my bike. Lol
