Default High speed wobble/pull

Just finished a bunch of **** to the train before bike week and rode down with little miles on fresh upgrades. Long story short the bike pulled to the right when letting go of the bars and over 80 wobbled/shimmied terribly. Finally swapped my old wheel and tire back on and all better. Anybody had this with new spoke wheel or maybe the michelin commander (never used before)??

Sounds like the new spoke wheel isn't trued up and it's out of whack. Could be the tire also, but I'd have that wheel checked. Have you checked it yourself for any loose spokes?

Good news is that you narrowed down the csuse of the problem quickly. Get that wheel checked dude.

I have the same issue. I am running a billet wheel up front, so it's not the spokes. Brand new tires/wheel bearings, tire pressure is good. The only thing left was the neck bearings and I had them replaced over the winter with Timken pieces. The old bearings were beat, so I'm pretty confident this will cure the wobble. Haven't had good enough weather to test ride it yet though...

Yeah I thought the neck bearings were at fault on mine, I had put new bearings with powdercoated trees on it last year. I thought they loosed up like a car/truck bearing will do and balanced the tire...dam thing still cut left...

Experienced this exact same thing with a Metz 888, returned it and installed a Commander II, same issues. Installed stock Dunlop and smoothed out. This was after 2 tires, several wheel balances, 2 wheel bearings, trued the wheel, installed Ride-on, and adjusted neck bearings. Dealer states the Commanders and the Metz 888 have too soft of sidewalls. Putting the OEM tire back on supports what they told me. A case where the engineers know better then we do on some matters.
