I think I'm screwed. The frame is in the way. Looks like the motor has to come out to remove the broken bolt. I started it up and rode it a short distance to see how bad it is leaking now. I now have a pretty good seepage at the seam where the case halves come together.

Just for the hell of it, I painted the entire seam with a ton of Permatex's Ultra Black gasket maker meant for oil applications. I will let it cure for a day and see if it blocks the oil. If it does, then I will ride it and deal with this problem in the winter :-0

I should have left the couple of drops I had before alone. duh!
