Is the 2013 BO non-ABS front brake line the newer high pressure type of line? does not seem like a typical rubber line- e.g. any benefit to swapping out for braided?

 

Also anyone know if the front master cylinder is 9/16", 1/2" 11/16" etc?

 

I don't see any reason the non-ABS would have different lines than the ABS model - after all, they do the same thing and they aren't vacuum assisted. That being said, I used Magnum lines on my front lines on my ABS 2013 when I went to apes.

The old rule of thumb says you'll get better control from braided lines due to less expansion, but I've never seen any qualitative figures.

 

Thanks for posting- Braided lines will make an improved feel over typical rubber brake lines, but these newer HD lines look different. I'm not sure but I believe the ABS brake lines are higher pressure rated than non-ABS lines. That's all just loose talk though, I have no verified info.
