It was a real long pipe and I preferred to wear earplugs when on the highway.
Thanks man, that comparison helps. As long as its not too loud at speed when riding then I'd be happy. I don't want a pipe that gives me a headache after 2 hours in the saddle...

Anyone else got any feedback on the Rinehart 2-1 pipe?

Thanks

I paid $435 to my door last October brand new. I found the Rineharts on EBay. There are deals to be had. You've just got to keep looking and be ready to pull the trigger. I think they might have been an older model closeout as they had several on hand. I got the last one. I'd definitely do it again. I can ride all day with these pipes.

Sound is so subjective. I know I like the Bassani's from what I've heard. I also like the pro pipe look and sound. I was tossed between the two. I was in the local Harley shop a few days after I got my BO. I was talking to the guys in service and told them what I was looking for pipe-wise. They had a Bassani 2-1 Road Rage that a customer had ordered and changed his mind. They gave me a SCREAMING deal on it, so guess what I ended up with? That helped make my decision easy. Rinehart is always going to be good, but been there done that. Wanted something a little different.

Those bassani short megs look great on the Breakouts....
The bassani I'm looking at is the long version, and with a different design it sounds a little different. I'm still on the fence with this one although I'm leaning toward the Rinehart.

I indeed have the long version. You can't really go wrong with either though. Something like this http://www.bassani.com/part/1s31rb

That does look good, and I agree that you can't go wrong with either one....

Thanks.
