Default best rear tire

what is the best rear tires you have used i ride like crazy, 70+ miles a day. i got a new tire not even 2 months ago (not a good brand) and need a new one. im looking to see what y'all are running and how you like them. i would like to get a little more out of a rear tire than this last one. thanks

Rough guessing from what you said; 70 miles/day x 45 days = 3150 miles. Not sure I've ever run one down that fast without a lot of hoonage being involved. What brand was this tire?

Personally, I like the Metzeler 880 & 888, but 10k is about it for lifespan.

Comander II's. I ride 80 miles a day on the freeway and get about 10k out of a rear. ME 888 on the front and get about 15k out of it.

Put a Commander II on last time and so far have about 5k on it and still looks like new. I don't run hard but ride 2-up 95% of the time.

I've experimented with Dunlops, Avons and now I have MC2's on my bike. I'm not hard on my tires so I have been able to get more miles on them that many do. On the first two, I've gotten around 15k on the rear. I did some research and now I am experimenting with MC2's and I already have close to 15k on the rear with plenty of life left. Matter of fact, I run MC2's front and rear on my 05 Springer.
