If you get 1 more summer of riding and you have 7500 miles on the rear tire I would say you are doing real good. I had to get a new rear tire at 7500 for my Deluxe. I have never smoked the tire and I am not hard on the throttle from the start.
The dealer told me softails generally get between 6 to 8k for the rear and double that for the front.
I never got more than about 6000 out of two stock Dunlops (rears).
Last tire change I needed a front too so I went with a set of the Michelin Commander II's late last fall, but it'll be a while before I can comment on those...

Yeah, I agree . The guy( and has since become a very close friend) that sold me my first Harley said to expect 8k max on the rear and 16k on the front.
My checkbook says I need 10.5 -11.5 on the rear .........
