If you get 1 more summer of riding and you have 7500 miles on the rear tire I would say you are doing real good. I had to get a new rear tire at 7500 for my Deluxe. I have never smoked the tire and I am not hard on the throttle from the start.
The dealer told me softails generally get between 6 to 8k for the rear and double that for the front.

Im on my 3rd rear tire with my heritage. 13500 miles. Got 6800 off of the stock (1/5 two up riding) and 6400 out of a shinko 777 (1/2 two up riding).

My front is still good and i expect it to remain that way until about 20k.

I never got more than about 6000 out of two stock Dunlops (rears).
Last tire change I needed a front too so I went with a set of the Michelin Commander II's late last fall, but it'll be a while before I can comment on those...

Yeah, I agree . The guy( and has since become a very close friend) that sold me my first Harley said to expect 8k max on the rear and 16k on the front.

My checkbook says I need 10.5 -11.5 on the rear .........

Guess I'll chime in too. Just like the rest of yall, I got
roughly 8K on the rear. Switched it out for a MC-II 150.

When it goes, I may go back to a 140, kind of like the "slim" look

I got 10,000 on my rear tire on the slim. That's probably about 1000 miles past what a normal person would have run it but I ain't scared of nothing.

10800 on my current tire and it's raining here in NorCal right now, if wires are not showing through I keep riding on them. Never had a problem.

You've got way more ***** than me. I used to do that until someone pulled out in front of me on slick wet pavement. Don't do it like that anymore.
