Hey Zip, what cables are you running? From the looks it's Diamondbacks from Harley. But Chicago HD just told me that the break cable only comes in the stock length in Diamondback for some reason. The throttle/idle and Clutch all come in + 2,4 & 6 etc. Well, for the 07 Fatboy that is.

What did you go with. They look too damn good man.

 

Love Mine! They are the bikini beach bars, wish I would have put the 1.25' full beach bars on instead!

One of the first things I did on my ride is to change to thebeach bars and chopped down the risers on my deluxe.

 

Old post, but new question -- I went in a Harley dealership in Cartersville, GA yesterday on the way home from work. I had been told the Road King Custom has Beach bars as stock. So I sat on one and then on an 07 Fatboy, which is what I ride. I liked the Road King bars much better. Does anyone know if Wild1 or some other manufacturer has a similar handle bar? I would like to make this change, but want the bars to be 1 1/4 ".

I just completed a Wild1 550 Chubbyinstall on my '92 Fatboy. I've got about 20 miles on them and LOVE em. It took me about 2 half days and about a 12-pack on the install. I got kinda **** with the wiring cuz I didn't want to splice. My ride before I think was stock bars -I felt like I was leaning forward all the time. Now, its like I'm in the Barcalounger.
I posted a question a few days back on the wiring situation. Am going to post a reply to my question for the next guy if you're interested (its under this same forum topic).
No time for pics right now. Also, I bought them direct from Wild1 and the next day gotmy new Dennis Kirk catalog -they're about 10 or so bucks cheaper in there if you can figure that one. -Frank
p.s. Be sure the 12-pack is after the wires are re-connected...lol

What did you fit instead of the beachbars?

 

I went with HD Beach bars and 1" risers....be prepared for complements on the street.

 

I love beach bars on my fatty. I didn't put them on. They were there when I purchased it. I used to ride an older fxrt with drag bars & liked them alot but have really grown to love the beach bar. They are wide & do get alot of comments on the street. I can't attach a pic for some reason but have a few pics in my profile album. I am fairly certain they are HD bars.
