I just ordered the rest of the parts I need. Im figuring about a week until they get here. Once I have everything, I will do a write up with pictures for everyone.

[Any updates on where to buy the braided lines? I may have to remove my oil tank to clean all the rust out where the lines enter. Would like to replace the lines as well. The braided May bend enough so I can purge the oil without removing the exhaust.

Growing up shipyards I got to deal with a lot of suppliers make lines, drop the old off, tell em what you you want. Voila.
A lot of vendors today offer the somewhat the same, took their time to figure out what to put on the market.
DK's products, from what I've ordered, seem up to that game.

I know this is an old post but I also didn't like it to look like every other Softail on the planet so I made my own. Maybe this will help others that want to change things. I used 3/8" and 1/2" Brass lines. The oil tank lines were the challenge until I soldered a collar around the 3/8" brass line to match the OEM. I also had to find compression fittings that would work on my engine. No leaks and I like the look.

That long unsupported tube will swing back and forth, until it eventually fails up where it connects to the gauge...

I love the look!
Unfortunately, my Vance & Hines exhaust from the rear cylinder comes down the right side of the engine and restricts the return line from pulling out from the tank far enough to do an oil purge, requiring the exhaust to be removed from the cylinder.

It doesn't swing it's supported by the oil pressure gauge and a rubber hose connected to the oil sending unit. Had it there for two riding seasons no swing no leak.
