Then why do you hardly ever see them on touring bikes?

I took a chance & put them on my FB on the advice of a friend. Every Harley I ever owned caused pain in my neck/shoulder area after a hundred miles or so. I was told the apes at shoulder height would help, and luckily, they did.

LOL, I didn't say you never see them, just that they're rare, particularly when you include all touring bikes and not just Harleys. They don't seem to have ever really caught on with the high-comfort crowd.

TO ME...Some bikes look great with them, some look like pretty silly. When I changed my bars, I didn't want to go that route because of the cost in cables and I didn't want them on my my bike. But, to each their own.

Around here more Harley's in the late 60's-70's had apes than the bikes I see these days.
