Default Just purchased my 2014 Softail Deluxe

Just wanted to know if it is possible to remove that ugly Hub cap thing that covers the right side of the front wheel?

Also is there an actual write up for de-baffling the factory exhaust?

Thank you guys

Welcome to the forum from Texas and welcome to the world of the Softail.

Yes, the hub cap can be removed without problem. I didn't like the look of it and removed mine.

As far as the baffles are concerned, see if your answer can be found here.

Welcome to the forum, and Congrats on your new ride!

Yes, the chrome cover can be removed.

On the Cats, they can be removed also. The following video shows how...even though it is a Sporty, the process is the same.

You'll get a good sound, and an increase in power across the entire RPM band.

Thank you very much for the info.....that will prolly be the first thing I do, until I make the investment in some Vance and Hines True Duals
