Default LRS Recurve Shield review

Recently took advantage of the sale prices that LRS had for Thanksgiving and got the recurve shield in 18" with the light tint. Delivery took about two weeks but I must have gotten mine before they had a big delay, there are other threads about it.

Install was really simple and no fitment issues. I have only gone on one ride with it but was great.I used to have a 21" and had alittle buffering with a half helmet. With the LRS no buffering at all but could feel spittle wind on my face. With my old shield I had to sit up straight and even than the edge of the shield was right in my line of vision. With the LRS it was way out of my line of sight but still did a great job blocking the wind.

Very happy with the LRS.

Very cool! I wish they had one for the 07 FXST to replace my OEM one.

I took advantage of LRS's recent sales also and bought a 7" clear shield for my Reckless fairing. I was impressed also with the air shielding capabilities being a short shield. This is the first shield I have had that I do not look through and the ride is good.

I got a clear shield and it must be the materials used in manufacturing but it is not really "clear". It has a slightly cloudy or hazed tint to it. My previous 2 shields from other makers were clear or almost transparent looking.

I am going to get a dark tint from them for summer use the next time they have a good sale.
