Can I charge my 03 deuce's battery with a standard car charger?

Yes, just use the lower amp setting

Yes, but if it doesn't have the "tender" feature then disconnect it once the battery is fully charged.

Ok for how long approx? It's not completely dead just not enough to start it. So at 6amps

2 hours at 6 Amp should be enough to start it.

Sorry to hijack thread. Wondering if it's ok to always use a battery tender between rides. Generally ride every weekend. Will this hurt my battery life?

I leave mine connected to a C-Tek charger all the time when not riding.....no problems yet. Battery is approx. 4 years old and still going strong.

My battery is 6 years old. I always have it on the battery tender during the entire winter, never during riding season.

6 years old and still going strong.
