Boom Audio stereo head unit

OK I figured out a good way to hook up my iPhone to my Boom Audio speakers without wires using bluetooth.
Avantree TC200
I also purchased a usb power port and wired it into my tail lights where the Boom Audio relay connects so it only has power when the key is on.
I then connected the TC200 bluetooth to the Boom Audio and power to the usb power port.
My iPhone pairs with the TC200 automatically whenever I turn it on.
Now I just got to figure out where to place the TC200.
Right now it and the power port are in my windshield bag and that seems to work well so they might just stay there.

Well yesterday it was finally 50+ degrees so I was able to get in an hour's ride.
First off the Avantree TC200 Bluetooth transceiver works great.
I just ordered a second one for my pickup so that radio will have Bluetooth.
Around town the Boom Audio is fine, not the best clarity but certainly loud enough.
The sound ain't like the Bose system in my media room but let's face it I'm on a motorcycle.
On the highway at 80 mph, I can hear the music but I give it a 3 out of 10 for sound quality.
I guess it's better than nothing that is if you want to listen to music.
Without a windshield, I don't see how you can hear anything other than white noise.
Also I must mention that I run V&H Staggerds with a quiet baffle but the pipes are certainly loud.
When I pulled in the clutch, the lesser exhaust noise did allow the music to sound better.
So my vote; if you want music and wear a 3/4 or full helmet get the Sena SMH10 Bluetooth headsets (I have them and love them).
If you go with a half or without a helmet, then I guess the Boom Audio is as good as any other option out there. That is if you have windshield.
All that being said, I'm keeping the Boom Audio since it was a Christmas gift and only cost my Wife $250.
I wouldn't pay $400+ for it.
