Did the 1994 Softtail come with an ignition key?

Might sound like a dumb question, but I was told it did not. I made this account just to ask the experts. I am helping my work boss sell his Harley. I thought the key was missing but someone else told me it didnt come with a key.

1994 Harley-Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic

thanks

My boss is an idiot, because he doesn`t know the answer, and because he asked me to help him sell the bike.
There, I fixed it for ya.

Should be a barrel key. The switch, I believe is under the cover on the dash.

Looking at Ronnie's Micro Fiche it does have the ignition key.

You can check it out HERE and it may help you out more.

Merry Christmas

The key is flat, and it is a mechanical switch, the barrel type came out with the electronic switch in `96.

Anyone who actually owned a `94 Softail would know it the bike was supposed to have a key...

The original post sounds like two 11th graders settling a bet, that have never been near a `94 Softail.

What would you do if you lost the key to your house, stay locked out forever?

I stand by my original post.

The easiest solution is to purchase and install a new ignition. You can get one from JP Cycles for roughly 50 bucks. Comes with 2 keys.
