Rear Turn Signal Bar

Rear Turn Signal Bar
Hey guys,
Need a little help. I'm out in the garage putting some new bling on my 07 Heritage. I just finished the Kuryakyn inner primary cover and am now right in the middle of changing my rear turn signal bar to the K short one. The bar didn't come with any instructions by the way. The only way that I can see getting this on is to snip the lamp wires, detach the 2 lamps, reattach to the new barand splice the wires back together.
Tell me to stop now if this is wrong and pleaseadvise.
Thanks in advance.
Al

RE: Rear Turn Signal Bar
Well I went back to the garage and took the taillight cover off and found that the lights plug into a hub with the taillight and fender light.
Unplug it, attach it to the light bar, fish it back thru the fender, plug it in and check for operational.
Gone for a ride.
Later,
Al
