I have bought a couple issues of American Iron.Just recently bought my Harley,so I didn't really know which mags were good either.Did use to get Easyriders, and Hot bike on the reg years ago looking for ideas to mod my Honda.Mostly a motohead before,MXA,Transworld MX,RacerX.Seems like AI is a popular choice. Also had a sub to V-Twin a while back, but not a lot of tech info.

I am magazine fanatic, I have at times had subscriptions to as many as 12 to 15 magazines. Of course all of them aren't motorcycle related. Right I think I'm subscribed to:

American Iron
Easy Rider
Hot Bike
Wrench
In The Wind (I think that mag is ending though)
Bagger (American Iron's version of the Bagger specific mag)

I think that's it.

I won't renew Hot Bike, I basically got it for free for 3 years but its not worth much more than free. I think I have about 18 months left.

Wrench is one of the worst motorcycle magazines I have ever seen, I definitely won't renew it.

I may get Cycle Source next, I have bought a few issues off the shelf and liked it.

Hot Bike and The Horse are good ones in my opinion.

In addition to what Kelsey likes, (Hot Bike & The Horse) I subscribe to:

Baggers
AIM
Cycle Source
Easyriders
Cycle World
V-Twin
and a I get a few others now and then.

American Iron Magazine (AIM) regularly has more technical articles than the others.

I don't subscribe to any but if I did it would probably be the two titles that I regularly grab copies of from the new-stand (aka the magazine rack next to the express register at Wal Mart)...

The Horse (for technical know how)
American Iron (for inspiration)
