Its good you hate the stock seat on the 07 fatboy.. it has a very good chance of rubbing the back fender under the flaps... thus rubbing off the clearcoat and paint of the rear fender.

Have fun picking out a new seat

I like the HD sidekick seat

Not the prettiest seat in the world but the HD Sundowner is pretty comfy if you ask me. I thought it was more comfortable than my Mustang.

GM cycles on EBAY has good prices, I just bought a Vintage Touring WIDE for my Fboy 2 weeks ago. Feels real good so far, we've had some rain and I couldn't get any miles on it yet.

As always, thanks for the suggestions. Hey Les, which Mustang seat do you have? Looks real good on your 07.

Brent.
I have the "Wide Vintage Solo". .
I'm 200 lbs so I thought the "W i d e" was something I needed.
I have two rear pads from Mustang if you check out my gallery.
One is their standard 14" wide one for long rides
and I also got a thinner 6" wide one to leave on just in case somebody ever needs a short ride somewhere, but looks good by itself.

Here's the skinny 6",sitting on the wider 14"

I've bought two of the Mustang wide touring seats with backrests and love them; one for my 1986 Heritage and one for my 2005 Heritage. For my Wide Glide I want a regular touring because I think narrower would look better. With the Deuce, I'm happy with the HD Sundowner.

JBaker, have you decided on a front wheel yet?

Yes, I've decided to steal yours the next time you're not looking.

Naw, I've decided to first concentrate on those handlebars. I need a lot more pullback so my lower back doesn't cuss me so much. I bought 3 sets; one from a Fatboy, another from a Heritage, and another from a Wide Glide. I also bought some standard type risers with adapter cups.

I got all of the stuff cheap on Ebay and am waiting for it. I'll mock them up and see what I think and when I get it figured out I'll put them all back on Ebay and get what I need aftermarket.

Stock seat on my 07 was killin my butt, I ordered a Sundowner because it has the studs and lacing like the stocker so it will match my saddlebags. I pick it up tomorrow so heres hoping it feels good.

This is a seat located at my local dealer. I like the look of the seat but it won't work on my bike so I figured I would send this link out in case anyone with a newer fatty was interested.

Went with a Danny Grey seat. Much better than the stock seat.
