I haven't looked at a 15 yet. Are the dashes same as 13/14? I'd like to see them change the dash and the emblem while they're at it. Little too much plum, purple or whatever for my tastes. Hard to beat a black breakout.

If only they had kept the graphics the same on the green.
I was actually thinking about buying the tins before I saw the graphics they put on there.

That image right there ^ would have just sold me on the green. It's that damn tribal that kills the look for me. Damn.

Got a harley ride this weekend. Gonna rent a breakout if they have one available. Honestly I've been looking around the country and there are low mile Ember reds out there...just gotta work over the phone with dealer and get the shipping figured out.

The 2015 Mysterious is officially OUT of the running.

It's down to 2015 Black or 2013 Red
What did they chang all around between those years? ABS?

In 2014, the anti-lock brakes came standard whereas 2013 it was optional.
I can't spot a single difference in the 2015 modes with exception of the new colors.
I plan to do a sunday ride out tomorrow and we usually stop by Black Bear H-D in New Market for free coffee. I will inquire about what's different in the 2015's.

I have the black with no regrets at all but after seeing the 2015 blue today in NYC I would happily trade it for a blue one.

There were also green and red Breakouts thre. The red in my opinion and my opinion only, it is not as nice as the 2013. The Kermit Frog green on a Breakout just doesnt look right. It looked ok on the blacked out Slim that was there but on the Breakout it just seemed like a LOT of green.

I agree. The graphic looks like something out of a cartoon.

Black is almost too easy these days. If they had done Black Denim (Matte Black) it wouldnt even be a question, that would be my choice.
i guess deep down it all comes down to the price out the door, miles on it IF i go 2013. and if if i go Black, i can always attempt a paint job down the road with whatever my hearts content. Not a fan of the blue. i dont really feel that it gives the breakout character im looking for. on other styles it works better.

Thanks for all the feedback. Those that have done so in the past...what would you say it costs to strip, prep, and repaint?

2015 Breakout comes with different/new front break set-up (New main cyclinder/reservoir assembly and new caliper). Front and rear rotors are different as well.

I saw a 2014 and a 2015 standing next to each other on the demo ride day. Looking at them from the front the 2015's front end seems to be a bit higher. Maybe they changed to longer fork tubes/springs...not sure, though.
