RE: who else rides with no turn blinkers?
I agree, its a personal choice, but I wasactually heading in the other direction, wondering if there is a brighter bulb available, or ... are the LED's brighter than a standard bulb ? I'll take all the help I can get when trying to avoid getting run over from behind !!

I like those taillights with the built in trun signals. I'm in Texas and here turnsignals are not requied on bikes. Thinking about putting some on later for now I only ride the fxst during the day. I ride my sprtsters at night it has all the lights.

I took off my stock blinkersbut I have these built-in blinkers in my front:
and I have built-in signals (with flashing brake lights) in my back:
I use both hand signals and the above blinkers in the day-time. At night time, it definitely gets sketchy. But in my opinion bikeswithstock blinkers are hard to see. Therefore, I try not to ride at night unlessIam riding with a pack of motorcycles.

I honestly think that the majority of drivers probably have no clue of what your intentions are when you signal with your hand. Probably think you are stretching or something like that. All though I don't always use them I probably would not get rid of them.

Oh yeah I gotta have all the blinkers on the bike and working. Smoked lenses help a little with appearance. Just my opinion of course, but at night they are particularly important as pointed out many times above. My first couple bikes had no signals...almost pre-electricity...would not go back. My cars have seatbelts....my firstcars predated even racers having them...and I wear them religiously...would not go back. Not all that long ago you could CHOOSE to turn on your motorcycle headlight...now it is ON or burnt out....would not go back. Big citys have salvage yards where you can score the lights if you cannot pony up for stealer...a visit to a motorcycle salvage yard will forever answer your question when you look around. John
