I am really ready for some fishtails ~ My problem is I don't want them to be much longer than the saddlebags and must be slightly shorter than the rear fender. I'm having a hell of a time getting info on the length I'll need. I tried searching, so please excuse me if there is already a thread here that I missed. I've called a few retailers and they are mostly no help. Help an old man find the right length please!

 

I have Samson 28.5" pipes on my Heritage. They are essentially fender tip length.



Samson does make 23.5" pipes. If am not mistaken, Vance and Hines' shortest pipes are 28.5".

Are you putting them on a Rupp,Deluxe,Slim,Duece,60 Pan?

 

36" Bassani Fishtails. They make 33" version too.

I'm with Doc. The 28.5" are what I have also. End right at the rear fender.

I have the Freedom 28" model on my Heritage. I would not go shorter but I do have hard bags.
