Pitbull air assist. Please excuse the metric, I sold it Monday. LOL

I stole the idea for a shelf from another forum member.

You're building your own table?

Here is my Harbor Freight joint!! Works like a charm ( you have to bleed the pump before you start using it and fill it with new oil). Other than that there's nothing to it. Can't beat it for $400 bones !!

Harbor Freight table. Great unit for the price... ALWAYS use the tie downs.

I am looking at going with the Harbor Freight table early next year I think...

I do have a question however- is it able to be stored away when not in use or should one dedicate garage space to it?

I haven't done it yet because I always have a bike on it, but I intend on standing it up against the wall and securing it with straps when not in use. It's a little on the heavy side, but I don't see why I can't do it.

Cool...until I am in a house, I have a single car garage. Winter I will have the bike off to the side (have a parking spot for it) and will have the car taking up the main floor. If I do get a 3-car garage, then I will have room for sure for a dedicated work-bay. Rather digging doing my own wrenching, been asked by a couple of folks to do some stuff for them. I work cheap...usually a six-pack will do.

Default Jack

I have a bike jack I bought a SAMs club about 8 years ago it serves me well. The thing that bothers me when jacking up the bike is that I do not want to fut it under the air shock system I have I do not think putting that pressure on it would do it any good so I put the jack arms under the to metal supports that go from one side of rage frame to the other under the bike now I have cleared the shocks but the bike does not go up even the back is off the ground way before the front I have been adding my black jack to the front for support. When I jack my bike up I like the front wheel just touching the ground so I can grab it and turn it for cleaning but it won't slip to one side while on the jack. Any one got a remedy for this issue I have does any one make a jack that has adjustable arms on it meaning that can be moved In or out on the width
