Default Swing arm removal

I got a 2013 Street Glide , tying to remove the swing arm. I went by the book and held the left side hex spacer and attempted to get the right side screw loose and out but the left side came loose and now I can't get the right side screw loose because all it does is spin the axle. According to the service manual the axle is suppose to come out of the left side
Need some suggestions on getting the swing arm axle axle out.

Unless there is an insurmountable obstruction, there should be no reason the shaft can't come out the right side.

This is a very dangerous job for someone without experience working on the suspension. Can get you or someone else killed. The manual leaves out a lot of detail that you need to know.

The axle can only come out on the left side. Hold the nut on the left side while unloosening and removing the nut from the right side. Use a drift pin or large flat end punch to push the axle out towards the left side. It's not rocket science....of course having the proper jacks is always a plus....

Swing arm 2013...why? (never mind I seen why)

Be sure and put a scissor jack or bottle jack under the transmission to support it with a 1/2" x 11 square or equivalent soft board, otherwise it may be in bind holding things up? Also helps with keeping things in alignment when putting it back together.

Often one side/nut will come off and the other won't...Take a B.F.H. rubber coated, and bang the axle out some...See above support tranny...Remove axle and place and protect in a vise and clamp it to remove the remaining nut, maybe mark that side some how for reference.

For a video reference all I can recommend or suggest and there might be others available is "Glide Pro" videos as an example. There's several there and youtube might have a few?

I am modding my swing arm to be able to run a stock belt with a 30t sprocket.

Assuming you are supporting the bike and engine/trans adequately, I also can see no reason why the shaft cannot come out in either direction. Try it!
