Measuring clutch cable
Hey guys,
When checking out longer clutch cable, is it outside/sheathe that would be used as the measurement?
My taller bars came with an fbi extension and i got extra slack in it now. Instead of using a shorter extension, I was just going to get a new upper clutch cable, but unsure if i need to measure the outer/sheathe/jacket , or the cable itself.
bike is a 23 heritage, if it makes a difference.

I got that from an H-D dealer in Germany.

I used that when I changed bars on my ‘20 Heritage Classic. The upper brake line I ordered was the perfect length.
