Default Bagger Wobble Exposed...

For anyone having a high speed wobble on their bagger check out this great video from Traveling Tall.
He was having a wobble from around 95 mph to 120 mph..
You'll be surprised what was causing it.

Hard to get by the Rap intor 6 minutes in had not said much. There have been 1,000's of reasons given for the wobble any where from 55 and up.
Worst at deceleration seems common.

i thought so too but it makes sense. I wonder what brand it was? It sure was a tiny shield. I guess its irrelevant to me, i love my shield and im not on the market for one for the hd, but the shield on the wing needs replaced.

Not surprised at all its the windshield/ fairing causing the wobble. Simple aerodynamics, and when you have that much force acting directly on the forks its going to add steering input. Hence why the road glides don't do it.

My dyna doesn't wobble when I have my Memphis shades cafe fairing on, but with the Road warrior fairing with 11" windshield it will wobble at high speed. But that is usually not until well into triple digits, but will happen at lower speeds if there are strong winds.

I would say that 95-120 mph was the cause.

Oh i didnt watch the entire video, just enough to get the result. Are you saying youve heard of this before with klock or just with windshields doing it? Klock wasnt on my list of potentials for the wing ding, im just curious.

No, I'm not surprised. He was going too fast.
