I've been running Metzeler ME888 tires for years, and wanted to give the Cruisetecs a try, but they only offer an 80/90-21, 120/70-21 and 130/60-21 front tires. Currently, I'm running a 90/90-21 ME888 front tire.

I've always wanted a wider front tire, anyway, since the skinny tire gets squirrely in certain situations, such as gravel roads. So I want to give the 120/70-21 front tire a try and I need to get a black 3" - 3.5" rim. I want to use the my stock hub, and spokes, so I am looking for a recommendation for the rim hoop only. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.

I also wanted to do this mod . And it’s difficult because there’s very few choices and all the newer wheels run a 1” axle . So what ever you find post it up .
