The Pro Pipe on my 99 Super Glide has finally cracked at the exhaust ports. It's been welded twice over the years
so it's time to replace it. I have been looking at something quieter as well. Looking at trying to mount the exhaust system off a
2008 Fat Bob because I like the way it looks.

I have done some looking around but really haven't come up with a solid answer. Can the stock mounting bracket from the Fat Bob be easily modified to bolt onto the 5 speed transmission?

I don't think so. I would look for the guy that took off his stock exhaust 10 years ago and stuck it on a shelf. They are out there. Took me a year to find that guy for my 09 SuperGlide but I did and paid 100 bucks for it.

 

I have already located an exhaust system off a 08-09 Fat Bob for a good price. I will spend some time and see
how it's going to fit on the weekend. Still waiting for the mounting bracket to see if it can be modified to fit. I have some ideas how to fabricate one if need be. My only concern may be access to the oil filler. I have however found a picture of an EVO with this exhaust on it, appears to fit and look good.

Going to the stock exhaust is another option if this doesn't work, may take a bit to locate along with all of the brackets.

 

I put an exhaust off a later model Dyna on my 95 FXDS. I think it came off a 2010 but not 100% sure of the year. Anyway, it bolts right up to the cylinder, but I had to get creative with the bracket.
