2017 Ultra Limited, 107. What is the coolant that is correct for this bike? Yes, I know I can stop by the dealer and get a jug but what is it? What spec? Same thing as xxx at ORileys. My bottle shows the level maybe 1/4 inch below the line when cold. It probbly doiesn't need more than 1/4 cup but I would just like to see it exactly on the line. Do the dealers sell it in quarts or gallons?

 

In an old thread. lost somewhere in these forums, someone suggested that H-D coolant is Peak 50/50 based on the MSDS data.

 

I think I might have just found that thread. I'm looking for what it says now.

I broke down and bought a bottle of the HD stuff 10 years ago and still have enough for 2 more change outs.

 

How much will a M8 107 wet head hold?

It's less than a quart.

 

Don't remember what it cost but I just bought a jug of the HD stuff at the dealer when doing a coolant change, still enough left to do another. Think the manual says 50k mile changes.
