Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to put the headlight and front housing from the switchback on the fat bob? Thanks in advance. Greetings from Spain!

 

No, the switchback trees have mounting points for those tins.

You can switch the entire front end to switchback (SB has 41mm fork tubes/ FB has 49mm fork tubes)but you lose your dual front brakes but you can mount a 7” Fatboy, slim, or heritage headlight to get rid of the dual fatbob lights.

I did it the hard way with my 07 street Bob. Adapted an FL Softail front end to get the desired ‘look’. Machining and grinding was required. This was before the switchback. Some say Harley got the idea for the switchback from us on here that we’re doing these conversions. I no longer own this bike and wouldn’t do it again.

I did it to my wife’s sportster too.
