New to the forum page. I have my grandma's bike that I thought I would ride but it's just not going to happen. I want to find her a good home.
1979 Harley Davidson FXF Super Glide. She has 17,000 miles, I'm not sure what price to ask for her? Anything suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Welcome to the HDFORUM.
I hope you continue to enjoy your ride here, as much as you enjoy bikes.
Only as a suggestion, by me as a USER, just like you, create a signature line similar to my one line on my bike information.
The year, model, and all the letters Harley assigned to the bike. It will appear at the bottom of your post.
Doing this will be helpful if you ask a question. All Harleys aren't the same with many changes and variations over the year.
Of course, you can always add it to any thread with a question.
You can also add any other details you choose and a favorite picture that will appear once in your post every page length to the signature lines.
If you like, you can also add a favorite picture for an Avatar you see at the top left of all your posts.
PS…Questions would probably get more comments in the proper area using the dropdown menu under Forums in the menu above.
It’s possible if a Community Team member sees your post, they may move it to a better area.
If they do, only as a suggestion by me, make another new thread back here in the welcome area to say hello and if desired introduce yourself.
PS. Keep your For Sale open to offers that you will think over. Start at high book NADA or any popular on line value estimator. Add with gobs of pictures Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist.
If your pictures have trash cans behind them, get someone to sale it.
Keep it local only. Do all financial dealing in your bank or credit union. Buyer hands the funds to the teller, teller approves it as real and then you sign over title.
I have an 04 that looks new and runs like new. The city apprase on it for taxes is twice what I can get for it. Go figure. Your advantage is what a new one cost. You will find a buyer.
