07 Road King Seat upgrade

Get some professional help.
Ask at your local dealer to get fitted.
We don’t know your height or weight or your bars and ridding style.
If you sit up straight you can put less weight on your butt because your legs can take some.
If you sit lower and back your butt will be taking more weight and your legs less.
Some need a lower seat some higher. If you get the help you need, you will save a lot of trial and error.
If you don’t, you may end up with a collection of seats and bars.

My first seat upgrade from the stock '07 Ultra seat was to go to a factory Street Glide seat.
It sat a bit lower and further back, and it was a blessing.
Then I added an aftermarket back rest.
Night vs day improvement to my lower back.
Then I upgraded to a Corbin w/ back rest.
The Corbin is a harder seat than the factory options, so it may not be ideal for you, but it works well for me.
I would look for options on OfferUp, eBay, & at local swap meets.
I found a fairly inexpensive one that was comfortable, THEN I had it recovered.

If you don't have one, get a backrest. Your dealer should have a selection of seats to demo. You might find one you'll like better than what you have now. Another option is getting your current seat redone, maybe more/better foam or reshaped for your butt.
