Default Clutch adjustment

I have a 2005 road king police edition and when I shift it goes I to gear kind of hard and makes a clank noise. Can I adjust this with the cable? I tried to adjust it on the clutch but can't get a socket and allen wrench on at the same time. Its on too tight to use a regular wrench.

Necessity IS the Mother of Invention!!!! Take an old 11/16socket and a worn out allen wrench and weld em together to make a CUSTOM Harley Clutch Tool. Put yer new Clutch Tool on the nut and stick yer screwdriver through it. Nothin fance just functional.

Here's mine. Socket with a hex end that I welded a wrench to. Put a length of rubber hose on it after cutting the other end of the wrench off.

Now someone has to say it. If you can't figure out how to adjust your clutch maybe you shouldn't even be working on it. Even an offset wrench works. You have to adjust the clutch at the hub before setting the cable/lever play.

First thing, Remove the lock nut and replace with a full size 7/16-20 nut. Most autoparts will have if not home depot.. Buy a set of offset box ends..
