Default Oil cooler

Is an oil cooler worth the investment?

Depends. I never ran one on my 1989 UltraClassic for 150k+ miles. My 2002 twinkie did not have one. Both ridden in the heat and humidity of SE USA. My 2019 M8 FLHTP came with the fan assisted oil cooler.

What mods do you have on your bike? Heavily modified bikes can create more heat and can use an oil cooler to reduce that.

Thank you Goose, I ride a 2000 Heritage with Fueling 525 Reaper cams, cam plate, and oil pump. In the near future, I am going to bump it up to a 95" once Mama says we have the money. I ride in a few different parades thus the reason I inquired about an Oil cooler. Otherwise, I would not be too concerned because I am in the NE and do not have the heat and humidity like you, PS Glad to see you didn't get washed away. The news we are getting hear sounds like Ashville got hit hard. Lived the first seven years of my life in Asheboro and was stationed at Camp Lejune in the early eighties. Keep the rubber on the pavement.
