Oh yes i can. Tired of people trying to take advantage of decent working people. If you must know he kept asking me for payment after he sent me some pictures that were random pictures from the internet. I asked for black grips and he sent me pictures of chrome ones and when i said i didnt want chrome he sent me a picture of black ones after he said he took off the chrome ones because he wanted black ones?? I then asked him to re-send the picture with something showing todays date and then he wouldnt answer me after i asked 3 times. Another funny thing just now happened i had another member send me the same chrome pictures that the guy from yesterday sent me. These asses need to get a job and try to work for their money

Harleypriest has a half dozen posts. A couple that look legit in the veterans posts, and the rest look sketchy as heck. Just like some I have encountered of other scammers that got booted.

Similar situation happened to me last year. This is becoming more and more common on forums these days.

You originally just said, "he tried scam me." I appreciate the follow-up post.

On a forum, especially involving people I don't know, I would rather know what happened and make up my own mind.

Thanks for taking the time to fill in the details...

With such a low number of posts I wonder if he got hacked and it's not even HARLEYPRIEST himself? Unfortunately it's all to common in todays internet.

Good thing you caught it. If I suspect something is up, I always ask for something in the pic, a dollar bill or shots from a different angle. I use common sense too......if the guy is selling locally in my state (NY) but the pics show the bike surrounded by Palm trees.....well.....time to ask for more pics. Usually they give up the second you call them out.
