Default Tires

Anyone else have any issues with the Dunlop tires the dealer sells in the rain?
was out yesterday and the bike got loose 4 times. First one I thought maybe oil from the gas station as I just filled up but three more. Definitely caused some pucker. Wondering if it was a fluke or if the tires are known for this.
Was a good rain and could not tell if the road had ponding or not.
thank s everyone.

Which Dunlops are you referring to. The ones that come on the bike from the factory?

You referred to the ones the dealer sells. They sell OE Dunlop tires, Dunlop American Elites...

Only buy tires when it's sunny outside and see if you see a difference....I never buy things in the rain!

I believe they are the factory tires. I use to run elites and a few years back switched out as the dealer was out. First issue I have had. Tires were new but this was at the end of a 3500 mile trip.

How old and how many miles on the tires? my 04 fatboy has the standard Dunlop tires with about 4k miles on them and 4 yrs old, they get. squirrelly in the rain. I will be changing them out in the spring for something else.

They were new at the start of my trip. Did it 3500 total probably around 3000 when I experienced this.
